Instructor Supervisor Line
- Responsible for the management, training/career progression of assigned Military Training Instructors (MTI)
- Performs periodic supervisory evaluations; provides feedback to MTIs and maintains assigned training records
- Advises MTIs of the exercise of authority to ensure continuity of training; maintains MTI discipline and morale
- Attends training courses to maintain operational and instructional proficiency to provide mentorship to MTIs

MTIS serves as the point of contact for all initial and follow-on training (formal/in-house) for MTIs and support staff. Generally the corps sees 250 students each year. Many of these individuals will return a year later for MTI Trainer or Instructor Supervisor schools. The school also hosts international students and sister service instructors.
